This client came to me looking to design a birthstone pendant for his wife.  Knowing that she was born in January we choose the red garnet to design a special piece around.  The client choose from three different shaped garnets, of which I sketched a design for each, where the final product would fit into his budget.  

In the end, he chose this beautiful pear-shaped red garnet to present to his wife.
