Frequently Asked Questions FAQ

Make it yours

At present, Geoffry does not operate out of a boutique-style setting.  We are happy to meet at a local common area, such as a coffee shop, chat over the phone or via a virtual platform. Please reach out to set up a convenient location or media form so we can begin the process to Make it yours.

In the jewellery industry, the term coloured stones refers to all gemstones except diamonds, even if the diamond is coloured. This also includes certain stones such as white sapphire and white zircon, even though they are colourless.

Some of my favourite coloured gemstones include: sapphire (blue, pink, orange, teal, padparacha, yellow, purple and green), ruby, emerald, tanzanite, tourmaline, garnet, and alexandrite.

You’re not alone. Many of our clients feel uncertain about altering family jewellery. But here’s the truth: Leaving a piece hidden in a drawer or safety deposit box doesn’t honour its story—wearing it does.

Re-Jewelvenation™ allows you to respect the history while giving it new life, purpose, and meaning.

Typically 4–8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece, the design phase, sourcing materials and your schedule. If you have a specific deadline or gifting date in mind, just let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Yes! In many cases, we can repurpose gold, diamonds, or coloured stones from your existing pieces, especially if they hold sentimental value. We’ll assess what can be used safely and effectively in a new design during your consultation.

It’s completely normal to have difficulty imagining what the new piece will look like. We use sketches, stone selections, samples and even 3D models (CAD or wax/resin, if needed) to help you visualize your design before anything is finalized. You’ll have input at every stage.

Yes. Custom work starts at approximately $1,000 CAD, and we provide a quote based on your design, materials, and complexity. We’ll also show options at different price points, so you can choose what works best for your budget—without compromising on quality or meaning.

Yes, all custom pieces are proudly designed and crafted in Canada, using ethically sourced materials whenever possible. We work with trusted local partners and gem dealers who share our high standards for quality and integrity.

Your satisfaction is our priority. You’ll have the chance to review and approve sketches, materials, and mockups before production begins. Because the design is co-created, we rarely see surprises at the end—but if anything feels off, we’ll do our best to make it right.

Due to the personalized nature of custom jewellery, pieces are final sale. However, we offer follow-up support for adjustments, resizing, or tweaks—and we’ll work with you during the design phase to ensure everything is exactly as you envision it.
